Job Title: Telecommunication Engineer
Location: Warri, Delta
Responsibilities
- Prepare Telecommunication Systems quantities for cost and erection works estimates
- Review Client technical documentation and requirements
- Optimise Telecommunication Systems design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirements
- Prepare the technical documentation for Telecommunication material and services requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluations
- Prepare Telecommunication systems functional specifications/equipment data sheet
- Validate Vendor Telecommunication BOQS
- Ensure all personnel at the plant area comply with set standards and QHSE procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Degree / Higher Diploma, in Electrical / Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering or related field from a recognized Institution.
- At least 8 years experience in such position in a well-established organization.
- Must be certified in the following areas of competence:
- Registered Engineer (COREN) or its equivalent
- Autodest AutoCAD
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Certification (SCADA)
- Certified Project/Quality Manager or Certified Energy Manager Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP)
- Should possess any of the following accreditations/certifications: CTNS, CTA, CVA, and CWA.
