Job Title: Head of Technology

Location: Lekki Lagos
Sector: IT Services & Consulting
Work Structure: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Technology, you will:

• Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Drive the design, development, and implementation of innovative web and mobile applications using NestJs, Angular, and Ionic.
• Shape the technical vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee and refine software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide team members, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure robust security measures for personal data processing and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional IT consulting solutions that meet their unique needs.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 8 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Advanced knowledge of NestJs, Angular, and Ionic frameworks.
• Solid grasp of web and mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and secure data processing.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and version control systems like Git.
• Proven ability to manage teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical discussions.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
