Job Title: Stockbroking Operations Analyst

Job Purpose

• We are in need of a Stockbroking Operations analyst who is conversant with Equities settlement, Trade reconciliations and other responsibilities

Responsibilities   

• Responsible for posting and processing all clients’ inflows, payments, and transfers.
• Responsible for booking of clients’ investments/liquidations/maturities.
• Posting operational bank entries weekly.
• Carry out daily bank reconciliation on all the accounts to be submitted bi-monthly.
• Daily equities settlement & trade reconciliation.
• Daily review of client balances to prevent overdrawn balances and execution of all mandates.
• Sending of cash statements & portfolio valuation to clients on monthly & weekly basis

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any other related discipline.
• A Second Degree and/or Completion of Relevant Professional Certification like ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of two to four years’ work experience in a stockbroking firm or group.

Knowledge:
The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:

• The use of Microsoft Excel

• The use of Accounting Software (e.g., Symplus, etc.)

Skills:
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

• Analytical skills
• Good Communication (feedback) skills.
• Problem solving skills.

• Internal: All other departments of the Cordros Group
• External: Clients, Regulators, etc.

Work Cycle:
Hours/Days the incumbent is required to work:

• Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• Flexible working schedule is also available i.e. remote work
