Job Title: Accounts Payables Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify the correctness of payment documents, approvals, and coding in accordance with company policies.
• Verify all invoices with the Contracts, Purchase Order, delivery note, work completion certificate and management approval
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes through automation or other efficiency measures.
• Maintain and update accounts payable procedures to reflect current best practices and organizational requirements.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to maintain strong relationships and resolve payment-related issues.
• Work closely with procurement, treasury, and other departments to ensure smooth payment operations

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are strongly preferred.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a significant advantage.
