We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Legal Officer
Location: Anthony Village, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilties
- Maintain and update all contracts database/filing systems
- Liaise with external solicitors, regulatory bodies, governments, landlords of buildings occupied by the company in various states, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in managing disputes and litigation, coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary, and representing the organization in legal matters.
- Collaborates with the teams to implement the organization's legal strategy in alignment with the business goal.
- Prepare correspondences and follow up with the engagements with regulatory and compliance agencies.
- Assist with the administrative arm of the unit duties.
- Conduct legal research to stay informed about relevant laws and regulations, providing updates to the organization as necessary.
Job Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law or any related field with at least 2 years work experience.
