Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Manager with a strong background in livestock farming to oversee and manage our farm operations.
• The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in animal husbandry, farm management, and sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the farm, focusing on livestock care and management ensuring efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement efficient feeding, breeding, and health management plans.
• Monitor animal health, ensuring timely veterinary care and disease prevention.
• Manage farm staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of livestock production, feed inventory, and farm expenses.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best farming practices.
• Optimize farm productivity and profitability through innovative techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience in livestock farming and farm management.
• Degree or Certification in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field (preferred) with 5-10 years experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in farm equipment operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with sustainable farming methods and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
