Job Overview

• The Dangote Group is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Officer to assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols within our operations.
• This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in quality assurance, particularly in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and Analyzing of Raw materials, Intermediate and finished Samples
• Interpreting result and taking necessary actions
• Analysis and Reporting of Water Samples for both Plant and Power Plant Operation
• Preparation of Daily Production Reports with respect to Power report, mines report, packing report and CCR reports
• Monitoring and Controlling of Pile Chemistry to the desire target.
• Assist in the Maintenance of ISO systems in the department
• Working with the QCX. Blend expert Software to Optimize Quality Performance and minimize error
• Inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective running of the laboratory.
• Carrying out any other job as may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Knowledge of ISO standards or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage but not required.
