Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our esteemed finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to launch their career in accounting within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
• The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. As a key member of our finance department, the Junior Accountant will work closely with senior accountants and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (1st class or 2:1)
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
