Job Title: Planning Analyst

Job Description
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the corporate budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and validating projection parameters.
- Planning and Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis, incorporating economic trends, market dynamics, and internal operational data to support decision-making.
- Economic Modeling: establish robust templates and tools for determining the economic viability of new investment opportunities and ongoing projects against corporate profitability indices.
- Prepare and present regular reports to executive management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, as well as performance against targets.
- Identify potential business risks and uncertainties and recommend schemes to mitigate their impact on corporate performance.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in economic analysis, strategic planning, and market research is essential.
- Excellent understanding of the energy, oil and gas value chains from “pore to pipelines”.
- Ability to review, evaluate and professionally challenge all aspects of technical and commercial work programs with the intention of promoting the credibility and accuracy of outputs.
- Proven analytical/advanced excel skills.
- Capacity to prepare, analyse and present complex information in a practical, logical and timely manner.
