Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Planning Analyst

Job Description

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the corporate budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and validating projection parameters.
• Planning and Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis, incorporating economic trends, market dynamics, and internal operational data to support decision-making.
• Economic Modeling: establish robust templates and tools for determining the economic viability of new investment opportunities and ongoing projects against corporate profitability indices.
• Prepare and present regular reports to executive management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, as well as performance against targets.
• Identify potential business risks and uncertainties and recommend schemes to mitigate their impact on corporate performance.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in economic analysis, strategic planning, and market research is essential.
• Excellent understanding of the energy, oil and gas value chains from “pore to pipelines”.
• Ability to review, evaluate and professionally challenge all aspects of technical and commercial work programs with the intention of promoting the credibility and accuracy of outputs.
• Proven analytical/advanced excel skills.
• Capacity to prepare, analyse and present complex information in a practical, logical and timely manner.
