Job Title: Procurement Executive

Job Summary

  • The Procurement Executive will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing quality goods and services required to support our operations while maintaining cost efficiency and ensuring supplier compliance with our standards.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a keen understanding of supply chain management, with a focus on supporting the unique needs of a wellness-focused organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for products and services in alignment with company needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers to ensure reliability and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and product availability.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure value for money.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with inventory teams to forecast demand and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure all procured items meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing non-compliance and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and payment terms.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and vendor performance.
  • Analyze costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on procurement spending.
  • Assist in preparing and managing the procurement budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 - 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the wellness, health, or FMCG industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with e-procurement and inventory management systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
