Job Title: Technical Assistant to the Managing Director

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscape, and strategic initiatives to inform decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for the MD, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the information presented.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up on action items.
  • Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality of all materials related to the MD’s office.
  • Provide operational support by coordinating with various departments to facilitate the efficient execution of the bank's strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Banking Industry experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.​
