Job Description
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments, ensuring proper change and receipts are provided.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving price discrepancies.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Assist with bagging and packaging purchases when needed.
- Adhere to store policies, including health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor and restock checkout supplies, such as bags and receipt rolls.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Dependable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
