Job Title: Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, and proficient in accounting software and tools, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Stay updated on the latest accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
