Job Title: Aesthetician

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Aesthetician to join their upscale spa in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skin care treatments and beauty services while creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our clients.
• You will work with a team of professionals dedicated to promoting wellness and self-care, using the latest techniques and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
Skin Care Treatments:

• Perform facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration.
• Provide specialized treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, LED therapy, and other advanced skincare solutions.
• Assess and analyze clients’ skin conditions and recommend personalized skincare routines or products.

Body Treatments:

• Deliver body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and body masks to enhance skin health.
• Offer therapeutic massages (optional, based on qualifications) as part of a holistic spa experience.

Hair Removal:

• Conduct hair removal services including waxing, threading, or sugaring with precision and care.

Client Consultations and Education:

• Consult with clients to understand their skincare goals and concerns.
• Educate clients on proper skincare practices and recommend suitable spa products.

Equipment and Product Management:

• Operate and maintain spa equipment according to health and safety standards.
• Ensure the proper use of skincare products, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting restocking needs.

Customer Experience;

• Create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up.

Health and Safety:

• Adhere to all sanitation and hygiene standards, ensuring the spa complies with local health regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and certifications to maintain the highest service quality.

Education & Certification

• Diploma or certification in aesthetics, cosmetology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Licensure to practice as an Aesthetician in Nigeria is preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aesthetician in a spa or dermatology clinic.
• Proven expertise in advanced skincare treatments and use of professional-grade products.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of skin biology and skincare techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to provide personalized care.
• Proficiency with spa equipment and tools.
