Job Title: Head of Business Development and Strategic Planning

Location: Kaduna, Kaduna State

Reports To: Managing Director

Role Overview

  • The Head of Business Development and Strategic Planning will be responsible for shaping the company’s future direction, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering partnerships to position the company as a leader in the FMCG and food product market.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute long-term strategies that align with the company’s mission and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and industry data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Business Growth:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, including partnerships and joint ventures.
  • Expand the company’s market presence locally and internationally through strategic initiatives.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, investors, and government agencies.
  • Represent the company at high-level meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

Innovation & Diversification:

  • Explore opportunities for product innovation and diversification.
  • Lead initiatives to enter new markets and segments.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the business development team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop budgets and forecasts for business development projects.
  • Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies to achieve profitability targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or strategic planning in FMCG or food production.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
