Job Summary

• We seek a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial operations, strategic planning, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the institution's overall goals.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and regulatory authorities.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably in microfinance.
• Skills: Strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Leadership: Proven leadership and team management abilities.
