Job Overview

• We are hiring a skilled Rigging and Lifting Inspector to ensure the safety and compliance of all lifting operations and equipment on offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect rigging and lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and approve lifting plans for offshore operations.
• Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements of faulty equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and certifications.
• Assist in training crew members on proper rigging and lifting procedures.
• Identify and report unusual conditions within production facility.
• Acknowledge, respond to alarms, and flag abnormal conditions observed.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in rigging and lifting operations or inspections.

Certifications:

• LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) certification or equivalent.
• Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
