Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Benin, Edo

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Manager.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, managing and motivating software developers and other team members, giving customer presentations, and writing project proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products throughout all stages of development to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and change requests to maintain project alignment with goals and timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, executives, and software developers to communicate updates on changes, milestones achieved, and other relevant information.
  • Deliver completed software products to clients while conducting regular performance checks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Engage in discussions with clients, executives, and software developers to define potential projects and their parameters.
  • Plan and outline project blueprints, including defining scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, establishing communication strategies, and specifying testing and maintenance protocols.
  • Assemble and lead the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Participate in and supervise each stage of the project to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure that each project remains on schedule and meets established deadlines.
  • Create and manage the project budget, ensuring that expenditures align closely with financial projections.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Development Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar role; experience in a technology company is a PLUS.
  • Possession of a Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in project management and software development methodologies.
  • Proficient in project estimation techniques and resource allocation.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
