Job Description

• The Network Operations Unit in UAV production is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and management of all network-related systems that support the communication and data transmission between UAVs, ground control stations, and other networked systems.
• This unit ensures that the UAV’s communication systems arereliable, secure, and capable of supporting real-time data exchange, which is essential for mission control, monitoring, and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Configure the network infrastructure for communication between UAVs and ground control
• Install and maintain communication equipment like radios, antennas, and data modems.
• Ensure reliable transmission of telemetry, video feeds, and mission data between UAV and ground stations.
• Implement encryption and security measures to protect communication from unauthorized access.
• Resolve network issues affecting communication, such as signal loss or interference.
• Manage bandwidth to optimize performance, especially for high-bandwidth tasks like live streaming.
• Monitor network performance in real-time to ensure smooth communication during UAV missions.Regularly update and maintain network infrastructure, including software and hardware upgrades.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate communication systems with other UAV subsystems
• Keep detailed records of network configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Work with engineering and other teams to meet specific network needs for UAV missions.

Requirement

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
