Job Title: Technician - Telemetry Unit

Location: Kuje, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• The Telemetry Unit in UAV production is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the systems that transmit real-time data from the UAV to the ground control station.
• This unit ensures that the UAV’s flight data, including speed, altitude, battery status, GPS position, and other performance metrics, are accurately captured and communicated for monitoring and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure telemetry hardware and software systems.
• Monitor and record real-time telemetry data during operations.Calibrate telemetry equipment to ensure accurate data transmission.
• Conduct functional tests to validate telemetry system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in telemetry transmission or hardware.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on telemetry systems.
• Maintain logs of telemetry configurations, test results, and data analysis.
• Follow safety protocols when handling sensitive telemetry equipment.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Enhance telemetry system efficiency and reliability through process improvements.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
