Job Title: Technician – Mechanical and Engine Unit

Location: Kuje, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• The Mechanical and Engine Unit in a UAV production environment is responsible for designing, assembling, testing, and maintaining the mechanical systems and engines that power and control the UAV.
• This unit ensures that the UAV's mechanical components, including engines propulsion systems, and structural elements, operate smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble engines and mechanical systems for UAVs.
• Inspect engine components for wear, defects, or alignment issues.
• Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on engines and mechanical parts.
• Calibrate mechanical systems and engines for optimal performance.
• Conduct functional and performance tests on engines and related systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical or engine-related issues.
• Maintain logs of repairs, tests, and system configurations.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools for mechanical assembly and repair
• Follow safety protocols while handling mechanical systems and engines.
• Work with design and engineering teams to refine and enhance mechanical systems.

Requirement

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
