Job Title: Production Technician - CNC Machine and 3D Printing

Location: Kuje, Abuja (FCT)

Description 

• The CNC Machine and 3D Printing Unit in UAV production is responsible for the fabrication of precise parts and components using advanced manufacturing techniques, including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining and 3D printing.
• This unit ensures that components are produced to exact specifications, enabling high performance and efficient assembly of the UAV.
• Configure and calibrate CNC machines and 3D printers for production tasks.
• Select and prepare raw materials, including filaments, metals, or plastics, for processing
• Load and execute pre-programmed designs or create CNC/3D printer programs as required.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish against design specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and replace machine components as needed.
• Record production data, including machine settings, run times, and output quality.
• Follow safety protocols for operating CNC machines and 3D printers.
• Work with design and engineering teams to optimize production and address design challenges.
• Continuously refine workflows and settings to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Produce complex or custom components with precision using CNC and 3D printing technologies.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 years work experience.
