Job Title: Electronics Technician (UAV Production Facility)

Location: Kuje, Abuja (FCT)

Description 

• The Electronics Technician installs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains electronic systems and components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This role requires a solid understanding of electronics and UAV-specific systems to ensure proper functionality throughout the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop UAV electronic circuits like flight controllers and communication modules, and integrate sensors (GPS, IMUs, cameras) and actuators (motors, servos) into the control system.
• Assemble and install electronic components such as PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), wiring, connectors, and sensors into UAV frames
• Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems, including power systems, avionics, and control boards, to verify functionality.
• Load and configure firmware on UAV flight controllers and other electronic subsystems.
• Calibrate electronic systems for accurate data collection and system performance (e.g., sensor calibration for IMUs, GPS units, and altimeters).
• Perform routine inspections and quality control checks on all electronic components and assemblies as well as Ensure all electronics meet industry standards and specifications for safety and performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on electronics used in UAVs also repair malfunctioning electronics and components, either in-house or by coordinating with external service providers.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 years work experience.
