Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a proactive approach to ensuring a smooth and welcoming guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests warmly, check them in and out of the hotel, ensuring an efficient and pleasant experience.
  • Reservations and Bookings: Handle reservations through various channels (online, phone, email), confirm bookings, and assist with room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Support: Manage front desk operations such as handling cash, processing payments, issuing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Communicate guest requests or issues to other departments, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Telephone and Email Management: Answer incoming calls, emails, and other inquiries, providing information on room availability, services, and hotel policies.
  • Housekeeping Coordination: Liaise with the housekeeping team to ensure room readiness and cleanliness.
  • Maintain Front Desk Area: Ensure the front desk is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor guest access and provide guidance on emergency procedures as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel reception or a customer-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and MS Office (experience with [hotel software name] is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
