Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) - The attention of the Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC has been drawn to the use of the name and office of the Corporation’s Group Managing Director, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu by some unscrupulous individuals who are in the nefarious business of illegally engaging unsuspecting members of the general public and particularly stakeholders in the global Oil and Gas industry promising them access and br appointments or facilitating procurement contracts and business deals with the Corporation in purported meetings with the Group Managing Director to facilitate procurement contracts.
NNPC Disclaims Fraudulent Use of GMD's Name and Office
The Management of NNPC wishes to state categorically and unequivocally that neither The Group Managing Director nor the Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has mandated any individual or group of individuals to represent the Group Managing Director or any of the corporation’s interests in any transactions outside the official process.
The general public and stakeholders are hereby advised to ignore any persons or group of persons posing as representatives of the Group Managing Director or the NNPC and are advised not to enter into any so called facilitating contracts or utilize intermediaries to conclude transactions with the corporation.
The new NNPC is transparent and follows due process and requires intermediaries to complete contractual processes or responsibilities. Any such approaches are unauthorized and illegal and will be subject to full prosecution of culprits if identified.
