We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier (Hospitality Industry)

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description

  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries about products, services, and pricing.
  • Ensure all transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments, are completed securely and in compliance with company policies.
  • Handle daily cash management tasks, such as balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, refunds, and voids, ensuring error-free documentation.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless customer experiences and address billing-related issues promptly.
  • Assist with processing reservations, bookings, or takeaway orders when needed.
  • Monitor stock levels of consumables (e.g., bags, receipts) and inform management of replenishment needs.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization standards at the cashiering station.
  • Adhere to safety, hygiene, and hospitality industry regulations while performing cashiering duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND
  • Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic accounting software.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail to avoid billing errors.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations, especially during peak hours.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor with a team-oriented approach.
  • Trustworthy and discreet in handling financial transactions and sensitive customer information.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of hospitality industry operations is an advantage.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
