TAAS College, Ibadan isa Co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan. The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to the secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. The college which is enriched with stately built school premises in a serene and conducive environment with modern facilities commenced operations in 2005.

Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Yoruba Teacher to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of teaching experience and a passion for educating students in Yoruba language, culture, and literature.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum.
• Foster a deep understanding and appreciation of Yoruba culture, history, and traditions among students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic and personal growth.
• Assess, record, and report on students' progress and achievements.
• Develop teaching materials and resources to support lesson delivery.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including cultural events, to enhance students' learning experience.
• Collaborate with other staff members and participate in staff meetings and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Yoruba Language, Education, or related field.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience in Yoruba language and culture.
• Proficient in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must reside in Ibadan or within the South-West region.
