Our client, a Microfinance Bank in Owerri, Imo State, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing / Loan Officer

Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for:

• Opening of new accounts.
• Providing advice on KYC requirements and assisting clients and account managers through the account opening process.
• Proper follow up on existing customers.
• Daily monitor of the loan Portfolio.
• Reviewing client documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Following up with clients on required documentation and escalating to the appropriate Account Managers where necessary.
• Contributing to daily marketing activities.
• Grow the Banks customer base.
• Advertising of the bank’s products.
• Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the Bank’s message to their existing customers.
• Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plan.
• Planning and project managing marketing events and evaluating their success.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
• Developing and implementing an internal marketing programme.
• Supporting the marketing manager in day to day marketing activities.
• Grow the Banks client base through Direct Sales Activities to potential customers
• Develop new business opportunities by generating Deposit Liabilities and Fund Mobilization within the MSME and retail market.
• Acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
• Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with customers within the retail and MSME segment who need loans and advances to support their business.
• Initiate the development, launching, and sales of new product offerings.

Basic Requirements

• BSc degree/HND/NDin Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & finance, economics or related field.
• Should have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing role in the microfinance or related sector.
• ND Holders must have at least 4 years' experience.
