We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: BBQ Chef (White Angel Hotel)

Location: Kubwa, Abuja

Responsibilities
Food Preparation:

• Select and prepare fresh ingredients, including meats, fish, and vegetables for grilling.
• Marinate, season, and portion food items prior to cooking.

Grilling and Cooking

• Operate grills and other cooking equipment to prepare grilled dishes to perfection.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
• Experiment with different grilling techniques and flavours to enhance menu offerings.

Menu Development:

•  Collaborate with the executive chef to develop and refine the grilling menu.
• Create innovative side dishes that complement grilled items.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all dishes meet the hotel’s standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
• Conduct regular checks on food supplies and inventory.

Team Coordination:

• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in grilling techniques and safety procedures.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation   practices.
•  Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Customer Interaction:

• Occasionally engage with guests to understand their preferences and gather feedback.

Salary
N30,000 - N50,000 / Month.
