The Federal Polytechnic, Kaltungo is a Nigeria federal government-owned higher institution located in Kaltungo, a local government area in Gombe State, North-Eastern Nigeria and one of the eight newly established Polytechnics in Nigeria.

Job Title: Chief Lecturer (Library and Information Science)

Requirements
- Doctorate (PhD) degree or Master's degree from a recognised University in a relevant discipline with at least 12 years post cognate experience or 15 years for Master's degree holders.
- A Substantive Principal Lecturer from a Polytechnic or similar TVET institution with not less than one year of experience on that rank;
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable Journal as well as presentation of invited papers at educational conferences, Seminars and workshops
- Five papers read at national/international conferences/seminars,
- Four papers/articles published in reputable journals;
- Five meaningful chapter contributions in sa tandard textbook(s) or two standard textbooks; not beyond 2021
- Registration with relevant professional body, and Evidence of Community Service.
