We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Supervisor - MT

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely remittance of PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension deductions and NHF
• Review and verification of posting transactions into accurate ledgers
• Training of junior staff to enhance knowledge and skills while still providing guidance
• Ability to independently prepare periodic reports and SEC compliant financial statements.
• Coordination of year end audit by submitting requested documents and liaising with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely conclusion in line with Management objectives.

Qualifications

• B.Sc Accounting with a minimum of second class upper
• 5-8 years financial reporting/control experience in a bank or reputable asset management firm
• Practical knowledge of IFRSs with specific mastery of IFRS 9.
• Full membership of ICAN or ACCA
• Excellent communication/report writing/probing skills
• Ability to independently prepare periodic management reports and SEC compliant financial statements
• Verifiable experience of handling tax and statutory financial audits
• Previous supervisory/team leadership experience is a plus
• Big 4 experience is a plus.
