Job Description
A social media manager's responsibilities include:

• Developing strategy:Creating and implementing a social media strategy to increase followers and improve marketing and sales
• Creating content:Curating content for specific platforms, such as graphics, videos, and text posts
• Managing campaigns:Leading social media campaigns and projects
• Analyzing data:Reviewing analytics and interpreting data to make changes for increased profitability
• Communicating:Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via social media accounts
• Researching trends:Staying up to date with new and emerging social media trends
• Managing budget:Ensuring that expenditures for social media campaigns remain within budgetary limits
• Reputation management:Monitoring and maintaining the company's reputation on social media
• The specific responsibilities of a social media manager can vary depending on the size of the company.For example, in larger companies, social media managers may approve content rather than create it.In smaller companies, social media managers may take on more content creation.

Skills:

• Some skills and experience that are required for a social media manager include:Good interpersonal and organizational skills, Good analytical skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
