• Manage risks associated with farming operations to ensure continuity of production.
• Build positive relationships with the local community, neighbors, and agricultural organizations.
• Participate in community events to promote the farm's products and initiatives.
• Implement sustainable farming practices that minimize environmental impact while maximizing productivity.
• Engage in responsible land management techniques to promote long-term soil health.
• Maintain comprehensive records of farming activities, financial transactions, crop yields, and labor hours.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders regarding farm performance and productivity.
• Ensure all farming practices comply with local agricultural regulations, health standards, and safety protocols.
• Stay informed about environmental regulations affecting farming operations.
• Develop marketing strategies for selling bell peppers and habaneros, establishing relationships with buyers and distributors.
• Analyze market trends to make informed decisions regarding pricing and sales strategies.
• Plan and coordinate harvesting activities, ensuring crops are harvested at their peak quality.
• Organize labor for harvesting teams to maximize efficiency during peak seasons.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Schedule regular inspections and servicing of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Recruit, train, and supervise farm staff, setting performance expectations and providing leadership.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient operation across all farm activities.
• Prepare and manage budgets, analyzing financial performance to optimize profitability.
• Keep accurate financial records and oversee purchasing of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies.
• Develop and implement planting schedules, crop rotation plans, and cultivation practices for bell peppers and habaneros.
• Monitor crop health, managing pest control and disease prevention strategies to ensure optimal yield.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
