Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our Human Resources department.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve business performance.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR executive.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus.
