We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Metallurgical / Materials Engineer, Metallurgist

Location: Warra, Ngaski LGA, Kebbi
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data from tests experiments to support material development and process improvement.
• Prepare all required documents and ensure accuracy of all data.
• Co-ordinate with unit heads, perform troubleshoot on process according to requirement.
• Support the process engineer to manage and interpret data collected from various conducted experiments.
• Work alongside production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure material specifications align with project goals.
• Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis, and assist to reduce defects.
• Monitor all processes, resolve all issues and coordinate with management and external parties to reduce downtime.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks in handling material equipments.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in Material Science, Metallurgical and Material Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or minimum of 1 year experience in Steel Manufacturing & Mining Industry.
• Ability to quickly adapt to an Off-site location is an added advantage.
• Must be available to resume immediately.
