At Blue-roof Investments and Services Limited, our priority is to provide customers with premium capital market services, rewarding investments and value generating assets.

We are a private limited liability company incorporated in 2012 with the aim of operating in the capital market to undertake amongst other functions the business of stockbroking, investment advisory, portfolio management, and consultancy services. The company is admitted as a dealing member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and also registered by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as Broker.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location:
Lagos

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts and exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services sales, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Adhere to all quality standards and processes for the acquisition of customers, opportunities and submission of contract documents.
  • Bid management processing and manage order levels maintaining the CRM database.
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity.
  • Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identify further sales and business development opportunities.
  • Work with group marketing to develop marketing campaigns to support sales strategy.
  • Generate new business and raise awareness of other company services.
  • Identify requirements for new products & services to anticipate and potentially lead the market.
  • Apply Companywide project management standards in responding to customer needs and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign off.
  • Undertake regular project reviews with all involved in these processes to ensure transfer of knowledge.
Your Profile
  • Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Actuarial Science, or Banking & Finance
  • Proven business development and target achievements track record
  • Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and cope with stress.
  • Ability to properly apply and adapt knowledge.
  • Ability to size up problems and see the ‘Big Picture'
  • Enthusiastic and self confident
