Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Officer - Engineering to join our team in Sagamu.
• The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in engineering and maintenance operations within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
• Manage the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, including:
  • Siemens PLC and drives
  • Motors (AC/DC/SEMO)
  • Cranes and forklifts
  • Sensors (temperature, pressure, encoding, and various types)
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Heating elements and other industrial machinery
• Develop, execute, and document daily maintenance plans.
• Oversee team management and ensure proper delegation of maintenance tasks.
• Implement and monitor breakdown maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, drives, motors, heaters, and other critical components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12-15 years of experience in engineering roles within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC, industrial drives, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Proven team management and leadership skills.
