Job Description

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Driver to join our institution. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of driving experience, reside in Ibadan or within the South-West region, and possess extensive knowledge of driving across various states in Nigeria.
• The School Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safety and timely transportation of students, staff, and goods as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students, staff, and other authorized personnel to and from designated locations.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, school policies, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the school vehicle to ensure optimal functionality.
• Plan and follow efficient and safe routes for all trips.
• Assist in the daily inspection of the vehicle to ensure it is clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and maintenance schedules.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Perform other transport-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of professional driving experience.
• Must reside in Ibadan or within the South-West region of Nigeria.
• Proven experience driving across various states in Nigeria.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with traffic laws, road signs, and defensive driving techniques.
• Good communication skills and ability to relate well with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Must be physically fit and have good eyesight.

Salary
N35,000 - N45,000 / month.
