The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. The college which is enriched with stately built school premises in a serene and conducive environment with modern facilities commenced operations in 2005.

Job Overview

• TAAS Nursery & Primary School seeks a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate mathematics lessons to primary school students, fostering a love for numbers and problem-solving, and ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive and comprehensive mathematics lessons tailored to the primary school curriculum.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning.
• Assess and evaluate students' performance through tests, assignments, and exams, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Develop and implement strategies to support individual student learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and prepare periodic reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience across subjects.
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of proven teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of primary school mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in the use of educational technology tools.
• Must be residing in Ibadan or within the South-West region of Nigeria.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
