Job Description:
- Incumbents are to maintain the Company's online web portal/platform and enhance it to meet top standards.
- Incumbents must be extremely talented in Web Programming and UI designing with creative problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial personality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing web based applications for the company and developing codes for the company websites by dealing with the back-end functions of Company\'s Website.
- Ensuring the links and basic functions of the website are working perfectly.
- Supervising and managing the design aspects of the website from the conceptual stage and regularly maintain and upgrade the website.
- Researching media and internet tools and implementing the usage in company website
- Ensuring that the website is functional and in most cases, user friendly.
Job scope:
- Development of web portal/platform
- Integrate and merge new data into current database, display and allow interactive with users
- Enhance usability and flow experience of site and system
- Tracking/Analytics system/tools
- Internal SEO optimization
- Management reporting - tools/charting
Skills and Specifications:
- Excellent internet applications knowledge combined with the knowledge of website design and development
- A keen sense for detail in programming websites and good organization skills
- Ability to work long hours in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with a team and make accurate decisions
Education and Qualifications:
- HND or Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML, CSS and MVC framework.
- Strong knowledge in web API - RSS,JSON, webservices and Ajax
- Knowledge with Wordpress and Joomla is an advantage
- Experience with eCommerce website - Magento, osCommerce
- Experienced in payment gateways integration.
- Basic Photos/Graphics Editing Skill - Photoshop
- At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience as a Web Programmer.
- Able to communicate well English (Both Orally and Written).
