Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Excavator Mechanic with a minimum of three years of experience to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of excavators and other heavy equipment.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform quality work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on excavators and related heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, repairs, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete complex repairs.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Operate and test equipment as needed to confirm repairs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced mechanics.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an HND / BSc qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic specializing in excavators or heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification) are a plus.
