Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team.
  • As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial management and control.
  • Manage and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT returns, and other statutory returns.
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.

Salary
N100,000 Monthly.
