Job Descriptions
- Resolving help desk issues/tickets viz-a-viz troubleshooting issues with printers, email, notebook hardware, applications and user network connectivity
- Ensure availability for internal networks devices [ router, switches etc ]
- Ensure availability for local area network connection
- Escalate network availability issues to superiors
- Carry out monitoring and log of network resource utilisation
- Communication with clients to provide regular updates with respect to changes, outages, incident progress report
- Escalate service issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
- Support device configuration backup and other assigned tasks.
Educational Qualification
- First degree or HND in Computer Science and computer related disciplines (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Computer with Mathematics)
- A Microsoft/Cisco certification will be a plus
Requirements
- Fresh graduate (no experience) to 1 year experience
- Some knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, servers etc)
- Knowledge of operating systems platforms such as Windows 2008 /Win7
Generic Skills:
- Good written and oral communication ability
- Action planning, Motivating, Analytical mind and strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment and work under intense pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to train PwC users on use of computer software and hardware in both office and classroom situations
