The Mike Omotosho Foundation International Scholarship (MOFIS) is open to all Nigerians who have at least 5 credits in their O Level Examination, seeking to study for their Undergraduate or Masters degree. This Scholarship is funded by Mike Omotosho Foundation and her partners.
The MOFIS intends to award over 10,000 qualified Nigerian students with tuition waivers to undertake studies in the following countries; United Kingdom, Cyprus, Malaysia, India and Russia, with intakes for January 2016 and June 2016.
We select candidates on the basis of merit from the test which would be conducted before we start collection of documents for admission processing. Tests will be held in Abuja and Kwara States only!

Eligibility
- To qualify for this Tuition waiver candidates should:
- Seat and Pass the MOFIS Test
- Be Citizens of Nigeria
- Be permanently resident in Nigeria
- Have at least 4 Credits in their O Levels result
- Be available to commence their studies by January 2016 or July 2016
Selection Process
- To ensure a competitive process, MOFIS Program organises a simple test for all candidates.
- Applications are then considered according to the following selection criteria:
- Test Result
- Minimum Academic Certificate - O Levels for Undergraduate and Bachelors/HND for Masters Level
Value of Awards
Each Scholarship provides:
- Upto 50% tuition waiver
- Bank Loan to settle outstanding balance** (if candidate can’t afford balance in installments)
- Access to Association of Business Executives Degree pathway (for only Business students)
- For Outstanding Scholars selected by committee - they stand a chance of gaining 100% Tuition waiver from selected Universities

General Information
- MOFIS reserves the right to publish the names of candidates who passed the test or who have been awarded 100% Tuition waiver
- Candidates will be informed of their test result via email
- Formal confirmation of award will be issued when all conditions of admission have been met
- The award is valid only until June 2016 -ie must be used before end of validity by recipient
- A recipient of the award MUST not hold another award contributing to his fees in any University or College.
- Recipients of the award will be required to sign an undertaking to return to Nigeria as soon as their award/Degree comes to an end
Our Pledge
- MOFIS Guarantees that every student who passes the test will automatically have a Tuition waiver, which may be up to 50% from one of our partner Universities.
- We promise to contribute to the education sector by making available access to quality higher education, and at the same time make it affordable to all Nigerians to reach their educational aspirations.
