Job Title: Griller / Sharwama Cook

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate grills, rotisseries, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure meat and other items are grilled or roasted to the correct temperature and doneness.
• Rotate and carve shawarma meat to maintain consistency and minimize waste.
• Assemble shawarma wraps or platters, layering ingredients neatly and evenly.
• Ensure portion sizes and presentation meet restaurant standards.
• Prepare accompanying items like flatbreads, sides, or dips as required.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Regularly inspect grilling and roasting equipment to maintain proper functionality.
• Maintain consistency in seasoning and cooking techniques.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils.
• Adhere to local health and safety regulations for grilling and food preparation.
• Monitor stock levels of meats, marinades, sauces, and other supplies.
• Ensure the timely preparation of ingredients to meet peak demand periods.
• Report inventory shortages or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 3 - 4 years relevant experience.
