DoC Advisory (formerly Deinde Odusanya & Co) was registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree 1990, as No LAZ.036178 on 23rd July, 1996, following the receipt of its license to practice as a firm of Chartered Accountants in April 1996, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (“ICAN”).

The firm was registered with the main objective of utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to its accountancy; auditing; financial & fair value due diligence; enterprise rehabilitation and restructuring; taxation; and economic consulting services in order to provide its clients with an integrated means of meeting their needs and achieving their objectives.

Job Title: Audit Associate

Location: Lagos

Description

• We are looking for an experienced audit associate to assist our audit team with the drafting and filing of financing audits. In this role, you will be required to plan and direct financial audits, prepare budgets, draft financial statements, and create internal auditing systems and procedures.
• You will assist the audit team inoverseeing, planning and implementing end to end client audit and assurance engagements.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the accounting and auditing team in their daily functions.
• Preparing and managing audit budgets.
• Verifying company financial information.
• Planning and performing the company’s financial audits.
• Creating and managing internal auditing systems.
• Preparing audit reports and statements for the company.
• Resolving client’s audit queries efficiently.
• Training and mentoring audit interns.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Must have 2-5 years of working experience as an Audit Associate.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures.
• Familiarity with state financial laws.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
