Job Title: Azure Cloud Administrator

Job Summary
- The Azure Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining cloud-based services and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
- This role includes provisioning resources, monitoring system performance, ensuring security compliance, and optimizing costs while ensuring availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), storage accounts, virtual networks, and application services.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Terraform.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud resources and services.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement and manage security measures, including Azure Security Center, identity management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards like GDPR or ISO.
Backup & Recovery:
- Develop and manage disaster recovery plans and backups using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
Cost Management:
- Monitor cloud resource usage and implement cost-optimization strategies.
- Provide cost reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with developers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to support cloud infrastructure needs.
- Document processes, configurations, and guidelines for Azure cloud management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher are preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls in a cloud environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Remuneration
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
