Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics Technical Consultant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • The Microsoft Dynamics Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other IT teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • The consultant will focus on customizing, integrating, and optimizing Dynamics 365 CRM systems to improve operational efficiency and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
System Customization & Configuration:

  • Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing) according to business needs.
  • Create and maintain custom entities, workflows, business rules, forms, and views within Dynamics 365.
  • Implement security models, roles, and permissions to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Integration & Development:

  • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with third-party systems using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, APIs, and other integration methods.
  • Develop custom plugins, workflows, and custom code using C# or .NET to extend the capabilities of Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Leverage Azure and other Microsoft technologies to build scalable integrations and automation workflows.

Technical Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to Dynamics 365 CRM, addressing any performance or configuration-related problems.
  • Work closely with functional consultants to ensure the technical configuration aligns with business requirements.

System Optimization & Performance Tuning:

  • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to optimize the system's speed and efficiency.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure the Dynamics 365 system is current and secure.

Documentation & Training:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, customizations, integrations, and code.
  • Provide technical training to internal users and other IT staff to ensure effective use and administration of Dynamics 365.
  • Ensure that all development work is properly documented and follows best practices.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to gather technical requirements and deliver the most appropriate solution.
  • Participate in project planning and review meetings to ensure that technical tasks are aligned with business objectives and timelines.
  • Help define project scope, timelines, and deliverables based on technical feasibility and requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Perform unit testing and assist in system testing to ensure that customizations and integrations function as intended.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues or bugs identified during testing phases.

Required Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in implementing, customizing, or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or similar ERP/CRM systems.
  • Experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and other development tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and integration tools like Logic Apps or Microsoft Flow.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 SDK, Web API, and Azure services.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM modules and architecture.
  • Proficient in customization, plugin development, and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of security, data management, and integration principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications:

    • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM)
    • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
  • Experience with:

    • Power BI for reporting and analytics within Dynamics 365.
    • Experience with Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and App Services.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

Remuneration
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
