Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Freight Operations Manager to lead and optimize our import and export operations.
• In this critical role, you will coordinate logistics, manage transportation resources, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• You will develop strategies to streamline supply chain processes, enhance service delivery, and improve operational performance.
• Leading a dedicated team and collaborating with suppliers and carriers, you will leverage your industry expertise to drive efficiency and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of freight operations, including import and export logistics.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to enhance operational workflows.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipment deliveries.
• Monitor logistics performance and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, standards, and customs requirements.
• Manage a team of logistics professionals, providing training and guidance to optimize their performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to foster collaboration and service excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in freight operations or logistics management.
• In-depth knowledge of import and export regulations and compliance matters.
• Proven experience in managing freight logistics and a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions for process improvements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building effective relationships.
• Strong work ethic — You are self-driven and willing to do what it takes to deliver results.
