Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager
Location: Nigeria
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement HR policies, processes, and procedures tailored to the establishment of the financial institution.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to attract, develop, and retain top talent in the organization.
- Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, handle grievances, and drive a culture of continuous performance improvement.
- Ensure HR compliance with labor laws, banking regulations, and financial sector best practices.
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages aligned with industry standards.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including regulatory training specific to financial services.
- Implement strategies to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention in a dynamic, mission-driven organization.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse workplace that aligns with the bank’s values and mission.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, financial regulatory compliance, and microfinance industry practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
